Hi, thanks for the welcome! Quick Q, are we allowed to put links to where our pieces are being sold within the description (does the description even allow HTML code)?
The description of the photo does allow for html links to other photos and the likes (I've done this myself). As to whether or not the dA administration will let your description stand with a link in it to an off-site place to purchase it, I'm not sure because dA offers print accounts that let you sell straight from your dA userpage. I'm not sure if they would consider this a conflict of interest or not. I've never run into this before. I do know that you can put a link to your off-site gallery on your profile, so I would think, if you can put that on your profile you should be able to put a link to where to buy a copy of the work in the work's description. If you want to be 100% sure then you may want to send a note to $lolly and ask him. He's head of community relations and should be able to give you an iron-clad answer as to yes or no.

A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
It's beautiful.
