er...what is/was yellow day?
I've been seeing lots of people saying 'happy yellow day!'
Wow, big question.
"Yellow Day" was August 7th, the 5 year birthday of dA. Why "yellow"? Because about 10 days earlier, °jark, the last remaining co-founder of deviantART, was fired without explanation by dA's CEO $spyed. There are many issues involved, and the management is not being completely truthful as to why this loved administrator was removed. To show support for °jark, aka, the "yellow alien", many people changed thier avatar colors to yellow and would only upload yellow deviations. Some removed their galleries altogether out of protest.
