Well at least it's not like I you can't get the message to the person and the shitty threads are gone. It has an up-side to it. ^^

Are you going to college to be an artist or are you getting a different degree? I don't pay as much attention to people as I should sometimes, so I ask obvious questions now-and-then. ^^;

It never hurts to post the stuff. You already have it written out so all you have to do is either copy-paste it if they're text documents or re-type it, so it's not too long of a process and might get you some more notice. A lot of people don't read stuff here but, honestly, it's because there isn't a lot of stuff worth reading. Hell I'm mostly a writer because I'm too lazy to draw (even though I actually draw pretty well) and I've only found 2 people here that make stuff worth reading, excluding me because my shit isn't that great either...

People like to look at pretty pictures then think about them so since you already have said pretty pictures up some background information is always welcome. I know I'd read it and I don't even read much anymore so there would be tons of people actually wanting to read your work. It might take them a long time to finish it up and you won't get as many favorites (if you care about that) on them as you do on the visual aspect but there would still be people interested and excited to learn more about the world or whatever that your work is about.

The fall back plan is to use the MFA to head northeast and work as a professor of the arts. If things go according to plan, I'll move to Colorado and work as an artist, yes. I am quite obsessed with Colorado.

As for the studies and writings, I generally keep those for serious endeavors that aren't Deviantart, ha. You've valid points, but I believe my only objective here is to display the final product, and should someone want to dig deeper into what I do, I may offer the PDF's over e-mail that accompany the pieces. However, that is rare for me to do. The fact I even post images of some of the shows feels like a stretch already. Each piece takes about 2 weeks of research, drafting, and a pile of disjointed notes, which I later compile into a document. So you know, I don't pride myself on what I write, but it is crucial to maintain the literary dimension for submission in real world sort of things. To inject my entire DA page with superfluous content hardly seems worth it, but I get what you mean.

Colorado is a pretty beautiful place. :nod:

I see your point. You're an actual artist and have more than enough quality work to have a large fan-base and booming industry so it's unnecessary to submit the stuff you don't actually want to.

On another note, since I don't know what to look up, do you sell your music as audio-downloads only or do you sell the albums on disc, as well? I finally remembered my Youtube login so I've partially gotten around to listening to your work and it's definitely worth buying if I can get a hard copy since I'm too poor to get an iPad or whatever...
