Yes. I read about it a lot. Never played it though.
And what brought it on is the lack of 'fix fics' you'd normally associate with this horror. And that Pinkie Pie at least got 'light in the darkness' where RD tore apart all of the elements of Cupcakes as utterly unrealistic in a WARM and LOVING manner that STILL came across as in character! And wonder why no one did the same for Pinkie Pie.

It'd be easier on the guards, not having to listen to them plead and beg and yell. That and less chance of them running/flying away and telling somepony of what's going on. Like Celestia.

But can't they find something else to use in the Rainbow Factory's machines, something that might not be missed so much? I mean, there are more then ponies in Equestria. Maybe you could try some of them, and... *Notices how the pegasi are suddenly eyeing him with a newfound speculation.* No! Help! HEEEELLP! You don't want me, the rainbows will have a bad color combination! It'll affect your quarterly report! *Said as they start dragging him off*

I still remember someone doing a story where Scoot has a nightmare of being killed by Dash, and later on Dash meets and comforts her, telling her that she'd never hurt her.
And I was just reading on Ravenloft myself, and for some reason I started thinking about which of the current MLP villains and former villains would have made good Darklords (with a still-corrupt Nightmare Moon at the top of the list).

Just surprised there's no story of Pinkie helping Dash the way vice versa happened in Light in the darkness.

I imagine the problem is that there aren't a lot of stories where Dash needs that kind of help. Even in Rainbow Factory, the focus is less on Dash and more on Scootaloo's betrayal by her idol. There used to be quite a few 'Dash loses her wings' stories, but those seem to be long gone by now.
