oh my god I remember watching you ever since the old days when you drew spyro stuff

and then when you started practicing proper anatomy and a new style I loved your art even more

you've come such a long way like wow

WELL I MEAN LIKE- you moved from a near-spyro style to proper wing finger placement + membrane, proper bone/muscle structure, different eyes and faces for different characters matching their personalities...

It's just so nice seeing how you've progressed and learned ;v; there's so many artists I've seen who don't really typically look into those kinds of things, and even though they may have beautiful colouring and backgrounds etc their dragons or main subject looks like it has no organs, or as if their wings bend like noodles. There of course ARE stylistic choices, but you have to make it work.

I mean your art was beautiful before, (especially concerning colours and backgrounds) but when you really developed your style it became phenomenal in my opinion. I've been looking at your stuff since I was 10 and i'm 16 now lD

sorry for the book, I just never really had the balls to talk to you until now- I hope this doesn't sound creepy and possessive. I just really admire how your art has evolved. I'm looking forward to seeing you getting even better

Aaaaah that's really sweet ;-; Thanks for the kind comment  I love to focus on having different shapes for each character's features, it's fun to do and great to hear when someone notices it!
I keep saying I don't worry about anatomy or wether or not something looks believable but... when I look back at some old art the bodies really looked horribly painful xD

If you haven't really focused on anatomy i'm surprised with how good yours is currently! Artists do a lot of good things without noticing most of the time though lD

Also I wanted to ask, I noticed you do really fluid animation as well. You never really talked about your animation much, but i'm surprised with how fluent you manage to do it. I have one of your really old animations though- it's like, one of spyro running and I think it was made waay back in 2008, i'm surprised it's still sitting on my computer. But, is animation something you usually did in private? because holy damn you're good at it too.

Aaah, that old animation :') My very first one. I don't animate that much, only when I'm in the mood once every few months so that's why I rarely talk about it, the ones I post on dA are the most complete I made xD I keep a lot more that I never finished/want to finish eventually. I'm just an amateur and that is my dream job to be a professional animator one day, but so far I lack the motivation and patience c':

aah same, I tend to animate once in a blue moon. And most of the time it's only a sketch. I think you definitely have the potential to be a professional, although they would probably want you to show you can animate a multitude of things.

also another thing i'm curious about, sorry about all the questions, but how long do detailed pictures usually take for you? I'm more of a starter artist than a finisher, I sketch and do simple stuff more than having the patience for super detailed work. I'd really like to start trying to finish things more though - i'm just wondering where you find the time to work on stuff :v

Yeah, my animations tend to be nothing more than sketches too unless I'm really motivated :XD:

My most detailed pictures can take about 15-20 hours to finish, listening to inspiring music is one way to stay focused and not give up halfway through xD
