Actually glad the shattered world saga is over with. I'll admit they did a better job retailing the story better then the original but it was a story we already knew and it's been what, 2 years now? The original canon had long sagas to but they were original stories, at least not based on the games.
I look at it more like a bunch of smaller stories that combine into a bigger one. Same with the "Iron Dominion" arc, and such. But yeah, it's nice to get back to the status-quo sometimes.
The Iron Dominion didn't take two years and wasn't based on 1 game though, which was my main point, but yeah.
I heard about the coming getting cancelled, but I saw someone post in article of yours that there are still things planned for later in the year, so I don't know what to think at this point.

Regardless, the arc only had a few loose ties to "Unleashed's" storyline, and was actually made up of smaller arcs, and stories that could also be taken individually, like the "Fighters" story, and such. So actually had ties to more then one game, and had original stories, characters, places, and events within it.

But it doesn't change the fact it all happened within a story based on Unleashed and Sonic was still turning into a Warehog. You can take the stories individually but they will start part of a bigger story that was the driving force behind them all, like the fact that the "Fighters" story only happened because of the Unleashed story.
