You shouldn't be so surprised. It is a great piece. I love misty atmosphere paintings. I really like how you broke it up into 3 paintings. Great idea!
I think the surprise is because I'm so used to drawing. Misty Morning was only the 2nd time I'd picked up a paintbrush since I left school back in 1984!!! I never had faith in my painting back then, and I guess that's stayed with me - which is why I've only ever drawn. I certainly feel much more confident about doing more painting now.
