On my site i try to cover both the older as well as the newer  video game characters and Regina is presented already with a couple of images, but the more, the better it is..and Tovio is a really good artist who is getting featured almost every month.

There is something else which could interest you. In June-last week i had an art contest running on my over 7500 members big group FGE about the Killer Instinct fighting game series you heard about before i bet.

Normally i sponsor such contests completely alone but for the first time i did it together with a deviant who is a big KI fan and was commissioning artists often for related fan art.  Instead of that, we both used around  $28 = 56 bucks which were used to make 5 prizes happen ..before i could only sponsor 1-3 smaller prizes.

Nearly 40 fan arts were drawn for the contest, the results are awesome fighting-games-elite.deviantar… and i bet much more had to be paid if the artists behind them would have been commissioned. Through art contests, a lot more artists, especially those which are not that long on dA yet and don't have a big gallery and many watchers get their chance to shine.


Beside FGE i am also running the dA group of my website where i am holding art contests from time to time as well, both are among the biggest and probably most quality instead of quantity focussed game related groups here on dA.

Long speech..short sense, if you are like myself and you like it when artists draw fan art of not so popular games or game characters and it is not so important for you to see something drawn by a specific artist you are welcome to sponsor something like a Dino Crisis etc. contest together with me which would have the result that many submissions would be made, and with more people (money) on board i can make a contest more interesting for artists and make more artists benefitting from their participation in one
