So I've heard. I've been talking with people nonstop about it on FB yesterday. I'm pretty happy with the casting. My first choice would have been Gemma Chan, but Olivia was probably in my top 5 picks.
I had to look her name up. Wow. She would be perfect. I think Celina Jada would be great too, or Kelly Hu. She's older, but still looks good and could definitely do the stunts/fighting. You? Maybe?
Celina Jade is one I had considered too. She was probably #3 on my list. Kelly Hu was #1 before she was cast as Lady Deathstrike in the second X-Men movie.
I almost forgot about Deathstrike. They really misused her. I may need to do some X-men artwork.
I agree. She has such an interesting life. They could have done so much more with her. Maybe since they pretty much changed the past after the Days of Future Past movie, she will no longer be dead and they can bring her back in a future movie? One can only hope.
Yeah, I was really glad to see Cyclops and Jean-Grey back after DoFP too. I was thinking that reset a lot of mistakes they made in the series. I wish they would take the focus back off of Wolverine, but I guess they had to put a favorite character at the forefront. Yeah, they missed out on a lot of opportunities with the whole Lady Deathstrike/Wolverine history. Unfortunately, I think they might do the same with Age of Apocalypse. They definitely could've cast someone besides Oscar Isaac, or gone full CG. Yeah, I hope they take advantage of their own "reboot".
