His followers recorded certain conversations they had with him and made a book out of it in short terms. I believe it is called "Sources of Chinese Tradition" Thats where alot of these quotes were from.

that's just me though! A lot of things are interesting and thought provoking, you just have to find them and have the common sense to read them... and understand the general meaning. XD
