Thanks. I'm interested in digital art and would like to try it since all my drawings are hand drawn. Would you perhaps know a website where I could download Painter and Photoshop?

Actually, I think it'd be against several terms of service to give out information like that, heh. Unfortunately Photoshop and Painter are both fairly expensive programs (Painter significantly less, so, though Photoshop is the more powerful program). A much cheaper alternative might be OpenCanvas (www.portalgraphics.com, right? Anyone, help me out here!) OpenCanvas is also much less daunting to a person just getting into digital art, as its a fairly easy program to use!
Thanks for your help. I've actually downloaded OpenCanvas from that site. The only problem is... it's all in Japenese! I don't really need to know what everything means but still it would be nice!

oh... hm. There should be an English version out there for download too! There might be a link on portalgraphics that'll lead to an English variant of the website...? Its been so long since I've used openCanvas myself (there isn't a Mac version )
Umm... I think I'll stick to traditional art until I can get a hang of OC. It's pretty difficult to use (that's probably because the most I've seen of a digital programme is Paint!) My eyes are still boggling at your picture, Ambivalence!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
