ok, so this is a really odd way to start my VERY FIRST THOUGHT thingy but i have two things on my mind. the first being: how the hell can tnt have a law and order marathon? as if during anytime of the day you can't find five different episodes of law and order just starting, half way through, or about to come on. i mean geez these guys have some balls! the second thought is that i'm totally pissed at LOST for not showing a new episode last night. they keep playing with my emotions like this and. . . .i just may wait til the season comes out on dvd to buy and then obses about for months. so there!

yeah i'm random, not that anyone will really read this, it's more like chatting with myself in a way. . . heehee creepy. but truly it's like crazy cause i've been lurking around the site for a couple of months now and finally have a piece that i'm proud enouh of to post.
this is totally random, but what do i write about that isn'? today i am overjoyed and am feeling the wonderousness of the christmas holiday:XD:. what, you may ask, has brought me to this euphoric state of being? why i can sleep in my own pajamas! this may seem like nothing to you, you people who have not suffered like i, but hop on a united airlines flight to anywhere, your backyard even, and see if you aren't thrilled to be wearing your own pajamas:sunnysideup:.

it started out as a normal trip to ny. my mom and i got to the airport well in time, only to find out that ur plane was to be delayed. this wouldn't matter that much except we had a connecting flight in lax that left at 10:10 fo ny and witht the delay the best time we were going to leave would be 8:30 for a one hour flight. of course that didn't happen:chainsaw:. instead we arrived and were taxing at around 10:00, didn't get off the plane till like 10:05, and made it to our gate at like 10:15 to stand there and look at our plane.

rushing to see if there was any other flight out of ny that evening, through my genius i conceived of a way to get out of la, but through the incoompetence of the united airline employees she somehow manages to print us out tickets without actually making a reservation for us on a American airlines flight:stab:. luckily american sits down and trains there employees so our new agent rectified tthe problem. we got on the plane had a slight layover in chicago and then made it to ny only 6 hours after we were originally suppoused to arrive:wtf:.

ok so that wasn't that hard right? so what did united have to say about that? they lost our luggage. no they didn't just lose our luggage like send it to atlanta or something these idiots didn't have it registered in their database :rage:. so i spent my first two days in ny, the city i loath by the way, without any idea if i would ever get my stuff back. third day rolls around and they say they found the luggage and will deliver it the next day. next day comes and the luggage is somewhere between the airlines, apparently it came in on a united flight but becauase we came in on an american flight american is the one responsible for returning our stuff, but the company that delivers the luggage from one airline to another is like screwing up big time:wtf:. finally at around 11 pm on the fourth day american says they have our luggage and are ready to deliver it. not trusting them my mom got a ride with her cousin and went to personally pick up our stuff.

so last night i got to wear my own pajamas for the first time in ny. yeehaw!:sing:

the bad news is that the mta, public transport people, are now on strike so unless you have a car or are willing to pay an unheard of amount for a taxi most new yorkers are screwed and stuck at home. which really sucks for me cause i really wanted to go see brokeback mountain ( oh heath) :sniff:, and might have to wait till i get back to cali.

as i go through some of my favorite atrist's galleries i can't help notice, as i have done before, that the male characters are totally swoll and have these super amazing outfits. yet the women are usually as wispy as possible and scantly clad. i'm probably bugging because i go to an all women's college (there are four colleges surrounding it with plenty of guys though) and we have a really strong emphasis on feminism. it would seem to me that if you can clad the guys in actual (semi)functional clothes then you can do the same for the women. that's my two cents anyways.
