Huh. Yeah. I remember this from somewhere. I do like these Wizzrobe designs, these are of course more akin to original looks they had in classic games. Where they were more shown to being this mysterious wizards in shrouded outfits, before finally revealing that they were actually bird people under there.

How concepts change. Just like how the Darknuts were just badass armored dudes before getting a species designed for them.

Yeah personally i really would of like to see Wizzro like this instead of what his final design ended up to be in the final product of the game.   I don't know it just makes him look more badass in my opinion.  not to mention it does go with his whole "wizard" thing he gots going on.

I like to see the return of this Wizzro design too. Although I don't know how attached he is to the actual Wizzrobe species or not XD

Well  I am not sure if he is a Wizzrobe per say.   He could be a mixture of a poe and a Wizzrobe as far as we know.  but this design is still would of been a lot more cooler to see in hyrule warriors over the final product.

and apparently this was Cia's cocept artwork, before they went for her final design for the game www.zeldauniverse.net/wp-conte…

Huh... I kind of like this design. Granted it still looks a lot more Fire Emblem then Zelda but I get what they were going with. I've just never been a fan of her design altogether.

Hyrule Warriors design I actually thought was pretty cool, but an alternate costume wouldn't be that bad:)

Yeah it does seem a bit more fire emblem.  but then again  fire emblem seems to suit warrior style then zelda could in my opinion.    This design honestly could of been great to work with,   the face sort of doesn't look like Lana's but thats just me.

Haha yeah i like Wizzro don't get me wrong.   i just find this concept wrok of him,  kinda cool and all.

Well they're two very different games in my opinion with different worlds. I agree the basics are there but Fire Emblem and Zelda have a complete different physique when it comes to character design.
FE is more flashy and Dungeons and Dragons-ish (Obviously) with Japanese Character Tropes to balance off very Western Iconography.
This picture of her mostly reminds me of Aversa from Awakening:fireemblem.wikia.com/wiki/File…
Whereas Zelda I feel has always been a bit more unique in character design. Because although it is a high fantasy story, it focuses less on the Dragons and Stuff, and instead focuses more on its own Lore which I like.
Both are good, but both come off as different. So I still think Cia's and Lana's design looks out of place. I think if they stuck with something that felt a bit more authentic to the Zelda Series it would have been fine.

Yeah their very different worlds.   in tropes, style, designs, and so forth.

Yeah Zelda does focus on its lore more then fire emblem does from what I can tell.

Yeah I think they could of done better for Cia and Lana's designs personally.   their okay but they feel a bit less zeldaish.
