Oh, Tycho was a long-term project, commissioned in 2010 & delivered in April 2012. So prices then, are not like they are now, and back then, Beastcub was still working on costumes for what were likely very-low rates of return. So it might surprise you to find out that Tycho Aussie, with two tail designs, two sets of gloves, and a fancy set of feet based on new Addidas pro wrestling shoes, only cost me about $1800. Of course, that was before so many quality fursuit creators came online and before the explosion of so many people interested in the hobby of fursuting!
Back then, there were only a handful of builders with internet exposure such as Beastcub, Mixed Candy, DHC, Clockwork Creatures (Beetlecat), & Firestorm6. The rest were only known via word-of-muzzle.
