Well um, I only do art requests, trades or whatever when I get something for my work which is worth it.
Your art is not comparable to what I do. Even if I win in your contest, it is not really a fair deal when I would get an image from you like you post in your gallery, I would not call that skills, you really should learn a lot before you set your art out as an award or price for a contest or gain some money or points to pay the people.

You need to take critique when you want to be an artist. World is touch and you are starting right now. When you are not open to learn you won´t get anywhere.
I didn´t mean that to call you a bad artist, but I said it is just not a fair deal which it is not when you give something of bad quality for something of good quality, isn´t it?

Well I write short stories. I haven't had time taking art classes because I had work.
I've haven't had a very good year. My Dad was sick was cancer and he died back in April.

I am sorry for that, but that is no reason for not being able to be fair to others or to feel hurt when someone says the truth - still on a friendly way.
I did not say any rude word either, I just pointed out that the price would not really be fair.
Maybe it would when someone wins who has the same skills you have but that´s not the case with me.
It is just a critique to make something better and not to make someone upset.
When you are a writer usually I guess you have more skills with writing. Why not making a short story request as a price then?
I give you a tip. When you want to have more people joining, also some good artists, then the prizes have to be something they want to have.
