I (re)read an Agatha Christie short story "The Affair at the Victory Ball" that featured a costume ball and characters dressed as those from the Comedia dell'Arte. While I am familiar with the costumes for Harlequin and Poiret, I really didn't have a clue about the Comedia dell'Arte itself.
After an hour of so of web research I took a break in front of the TV. What was on? King of the Hill with an episode in which Bobby Hill studies (and practices) the Comedia dell'Arte. What were the odds of that being the topic for last night's episode?
