i agree that it is spiritual, peaceful and beautiful.. to watch your own baby sleep. i would take pictures... but im a horrible photographer! so i must sketch. lol.

its refreshing to know that as a father you feel that way about your baby... good dads seem to be getting harder and harder to come by.

Im so glad you told me what you thought about my story, i havent beena ble to get very many people to comment on it, which is frustrating because then i dont know if i should throw it away or keep at it. Thanks for checking out my gallery. I know it says like 61 deviations. But some I deleted because they weren't that good or had to edit and resubmit. But thanks again for checking my stuff out. Now for me to do the same.

thanks for the constructive criticism! not enough contrast, you say. hmmm, not sure what to do there. a lot of my previous shots have saturated blacks (which sure looks contrasty) so in this shot I was happy to get some shadow detail going. I adjusted the levels in ps to make the blacks black and the whites white, not sure what more I can do in terms of sheer contrast, without clipping the whites or the blacks. perhaps what's really lacking is something else, like maybe I've adjusted the curves badly? dunno

maybe the sky is too bright? I think it's overpowering the limited highlights of the rest of the scene, so although the contrast of the whole image is ok the local contrast of the subject is too limited.
