oh dear.. favourite album. It's hard to decide between "The Broadsword and the Beast", "Heavy Horses" and "Songs from the Wood". Those last two have a lot of Celtic influences, and I love the anti-modernization theme of several of the songs on "Heavy Horses". I pretty much grew up with "The Broadsword and the Beast". "Pussywillow" is the first song I remember hearing, ever - one of my earliest memories involves it. The music in all of the songs on that album is brilliant - especially in "The Clasp" and "Broadsword".
Of course, I have favourites on other albums, too - like the songs "Jack-a-Lynn" and "Mountain Men". The latter is one of the few in which you can actually hear Ian's Scottish accent!
