Umm Samus is human, just with super human features. Samus never had a gender identity after the first game she was in cuz in the original game, everyone thought Samus was either a man in a suit or a robot and in the end, it reveals Samus is actually a girl. After that, it was established she was a female

I forgot she became infused with their DNA, so she is technically human and Chozo.
