If you want my honest opinion, you've got hell of a way to go. My first suggestion would be take several hundred life drawing classes. If you're serious about drawing, you've got no other option. Life drawing, and tons and tons of practice.

Well...You said constructive criticism is alright so.... I like it. Your pictures are very cartoony. You should really practice shading though. It can help make your pictures a lot more realistic. I don't know if you want your pictures to look like cartoons, but i think they would look great as realistic drawings.
