This is a Triolet - well actually it is two triolets.
Fantastic Freedom - Triolet
Can you see the laughter here in my smile
And feel passionate worlds within these eyes?
Life was joy, sometimes an intriguing trial,
can you see the laughter here in my smile?
Time's lines have been on my face for awhile
But youth was once mine to fold into sighs.
Can you see the laughter here in my smile
And feel passionate worlds within these eyes?
Beautiful dreams I have sipped like fine wine,
Love in my heart has measured my wisdom,
God gave me grace from His presence: divine,
Beautiful dreams I have sipped like fine wine.
I skip, dance, then sing on wonder's incline,
fly through the veins of fantastic freedom,
Beautiful dreams I have sipped like fine wine,
Love in my heart has measured my wisdom.
Line 1 and 2 make an observation

Line 3 rhymes with line A
Line 4 is line 1 repeated
The first four lines look like this:

I don't know if you will like George Winston-he;s new age piano. If you do give him a listen, try to find something from his "Autumn" album.
He's very soothing...a far cry from Metallica...
I do like a few songs by Guns N' Roses and think their guitar player (Slash) is unique.
