actually, got even better than just a sleep-in!!! My partner arranged for him, our son, and I to go for a ride on the Wanganui Riverboat as a belated birthday treat. I've wanted to go on that for AGES, and we had a stunner of a day, so many photos were taken. Made for a REALLY great day!!
