So putting people on Watch puts them on your friends list? How do you get the row of little icons for each of them to show up like you have set up?

yeah, watches here are kinda like friends on lj. you get notified when a person on your watch posts a new art piece.

to have a row of people's icons in your journal, you have to physically write it out. to have someone's icon show up you type
[colon][the word "icon"][their username][colon] with no spaces. so it looks like this :icon catgoyle: (but imagine taking out the space between icon and catgoyle). so what i did is i looked through my watch list, pulled out people i know (as opposed to people i dont know but whose art i enjoy) and put their icons in my journal

(grins) Makes it easier to know when you've posted something new. Now I'm really wishing I hadn't stopped reading the Holmes stories so very long ago that I can't even remember more of the characters than three. Holmes, Watson and Moriarty (sp?). You have a very fun style.
