Ahh,I've been wanting to ask what paper you use for copics? Is 200gsm watercolour paper good enough? And do you apply base colour first in copic? Why can't I blend properly in copic?

I used copic bleedproof paper and manga illustration paper
but I mostly used copic on hot pressed watercolor paper, to touch up my watercolor painting.

I found people applied darker layer of color such as blush or shadow first, then added (and blended with) lighter base color later.

Btw I rarely used copic mainly for my artwork because they are made of dyes, which means they are not lightfast, unlike artist watercolors which could last for century without fading.
