Hi! Welcome to DA. I'm pretty new myself but am already addicted. Do you use any other fractal programs?I've been lurking for awhile, but then I got addicted to Apophysis and I had to share the fractal funness. I don't work with any other fractal programs, although I do some 3d models with Blender and some painting with Photoshop. Thanks for the welcome!
Apophysis is totally addicting. I started using UF and it is still my favorite but when I want to just play, I go to Apo--not that Apo is easier, I just am not good enough to get serious with it.
I play with apophysis because it fits well within my budget- i.e. totally free. One can waste hours and hours with the julian fractals alone.
My budget is pretty much the same. I have to scrimp and save for months to get something that isn't "freeware".Thanks for the

I know they are doing some restructuring and they have the big B-day bash going on but I need my fractal fix.
