2nd. Write something more meaningful if you actually care about using someones work that they spent many time consuming hours on. Don't just write some quick "Whatever" comment.
3rd. You say nothing about what your project is. You just ask to use my work. Are you making profit. Do you have any intent to pay the artist for the work your using?
I've let people use my work in non profit ways before. I just find your approach distasteful and disrespectful.
