oh, and would you mind telling me where your mysteriously sounding username has its origins? does it have something to do with Ernest Hemingway, (one of my all time favourite writers)?

You draw the way I daydream. Where depth is texture and size rather than distance. I also have a deep love for the story of the snow queen. So I said to my self, "self, watch this one."

My brother and I are putting together a comic book, I'm writing (although my brother is a very good writer himself) and he is illustrating. Ernest Abacus is a young archaeologist who has trouble finding work because his father was taken by a mummy which left a stigma on the Abacus name. Actually it's complicated, but Ernest's name was chosen to be old fashioned, nerdy, and, well Ernest.

My brother and I are also fans of Hemingway, but he was too macho to be our characters namesake.
