I know I have been such a person that mostly fave and run (im bad I know) but I LOVE everything you make! You are so increddibly talented and skilled and woderful as an artist! Everything you create is pure magical! I have been thinking of commissioning you SO many times through the years but been to poor for it, its not until now I finally have gotten a working budget, and I dont even know if you take commissions anymore. I am SO happy to know that you behave crazy like me so Im not the only hyper active terrier! XD Serioulsy, I have been sitting with your gallery before me smilling like a mad person (my jaws are actually beginning to hurt) and Im so FRIGGIN happy and excited and just aaaaaaaaaaaaak!!!!! I cant even explain how insanely... EPIC this is!!!! If you had lived somewhere closer I would have run over to you and grabbed you by the hands and maniacly start dancing around. XDDD

XD Same! I'm a complete fav-and-run-person too. Mostly because I simply have no idea what I could write. Oooor I keep the tab open to write later and forget it. Coffee-damaged brain.
I do take commissions, but since I'm not really fast lately (or working on too many different things), the waiting times can be quite long. Though... this might sound really bold, but would you consider an art trade, drawing for a figure like your Snow creature? It's really fantastic and I love it. ^^ I'd also pay for it, but December and January are always the months when all the big bills arrive. I couldn't pay anything till February/March. ^^'

I sure could consider a trade! I dunno if my creatures are worth enough for you though, I mean, it must take you SO long to create the pieces you make. The creatures I make in that size I sell for 400$ , cause yeah, they are really big and take much of time, but maybe that wont be a fair trade? I dont know how much you usually take for a pic, so I cant say if it would be to little that I traded you such sculpt, I want it to be fair of course, dont want you to feel you make me something and wont get enough in return if you get why Im trying to say. ^^
But in that case would it be okay if we traded sometime a little later next year, Im totally swamped with commissions right now and I really have to finish them (even though I wish I could say I START WITH YOURS NOW!!!") cause I have already draged out the time with them and they are waiting and I feel constantly bad for it. X___x I dont do art for a living unfortunately so sculptures for me take veeeeeeeeery long to finish between my "real" work. But if you are fine with waiting (and fine with trading at all theeeeen Im totally up for it!

I'm actually more worried that it's not fair for you! XD I normally ask for around CHF 200 to 250 for an A4 commission. I think that would be around... USD 205 to 260.-... roughly guessed.
Maybe a SMALL white deer on pointy legs? : D Or two A4 drawings? Or A3, that would work too for me. ^^ Gods, it's weird to ask for a trade of 2D versus 3D! I have no idea how to translate that into something that seems right! *flails*

I'm often swapped with commissions too and working part time and on call is not making my life less chaotic. Absolutely impossible to plan that way. Plus, I always thought that great things need time till they are finished. I personally prefer it when I can work on a drawing some more, just to make it "feel" finished. Instead of just looking finished.

Same here! When artist take long to make something for me, whatever it might be, I never think "where IS my commish!!!? They are so sloooow!!" instead I think "its nice that it take time, I want the art to be as great as it can, AND I want the artist to feel like drawing it, and have fun with it when doing it, thats the most important". I waited for a commish for almost 2 years but when I got it it was fabulous so you can totally take all the time you need and want too~ And then I mean that even if I get finished before you thats still tooootally okay if you take much more time to finish your part. <3
And I know what you mean, Im a super big perfectionist, I must have time to make my creations the very best they can be, I can not make and sell or give away anything Im not 100% happy with. They must be perfect in my eyes, as perfect as I can manage. ^^
And uhu, I have a part time job to, around 65% and its also on call ins. So I never know when I have to rush of. Super annoying. -___- But it is a job at least. Haha
And now I think I have babbled your ears of. XD
One question do you want a ceature just like this one or different in any way? If the same maybe you can even have this one. Huhu Must check how I manage the bills but otherwise and iiiif you want one the same I can consider giving you this. But I can also make another if you want a different being with different details.

Excitement overload is great. XD I love it when that happens to me! Plus, I'm really good at being negative, so terrier brain is a nice change once in a while! And so going to save all those messages you send me for a day of no motivation, when I think my drawings suck. We all have those. And there is NOTHING as good against it, like such comments! And it's awesome when you see that someone is getting so excited because of your works.
To be honest, I do try to avoid A3 commissions, since - so far- not one commissioner actually had me finish the commission and paid for it. Granted, I'm a bit of an idiot myself, but when people I personally know ask me for art, I want it to be absolutely perfect before they pay.
A3 made me a bit careful lately, since it seems a bit like a curse: Whenever I start an A3 commission, someone will be offended in the end and mad at me. :'D
So, I normally do A4 commissions.
But A3 WOULD be CHF 400.-, so about the equivalent amount you ask for your creatures.
Depending on the commission, time IS a factor. When working for a publisher, you have a deadline and that's it. But when there is no deadline, I do like to make it as perfect as possible. Same though: In combo with a part time job that sometimes takes a tad long. But as someone who worked in offices where you had to stay from 8am to 5pm: Part time on call is so much better. You get called in when there is work and you don't have to pretend for days to be busy, when there is absolutely nothing to do. :'D
Trade: Keep your bills first priority. ^^ If you can sell your Snow, do not hold onto it for me. But if you don't mind creating a similar critter, I'd very much love to have one with that design in my showcase. 83 And maybe add one or two swirls on the fur, if that's possible? Note that I have no idea about what is doable and what is not. I was just thinking of this one:
