Welcome to DA, I have looked through your gallery and made a few comments. You have some really neat stuff. I couldn't help but notice your journal entry too 
Don't worry about it, I haven't been here all that long either but I have submitted many deviations that have gone unnoticed. It can be disheartening but it makes me all the more determined to submit something really mindblowing! (I will one day! 
) There is so much talent on this site it gets a bit hard to shine sometimes, I am by no means a great artist but I am working on it and I completely understand how you feel. Stick at it!!
