how do you get hold of the metal designs?
how do you get hold of the metal designs?I start with traditional and known forms. Then I deform or I add points, arcs, curves. As many claws which will hang the glance… The Gothic style is perfect for that.
did you cut the metal out yourself or supplied?

I drew the forms on paper. I stuck paper on metal. I cut metal with a jigsaw (like a saw to make marquettery). The work is very long because the curves are tight. The blades must be often changed. The curves destroy the sharpening of the teeth. It is also necessary to lubricate the blades to facilitate the cut.
