artist's block?
i watch an artsy movie. not even kidding you. that always does that for me. not necessarily a movie about an artist but rather a movie with a lot of visuals. i usually compare them to poetry set to music and visuals. if you can somehow find a movie called "wings of desire" you will understand. all it is is a movie about an angel who falls in love. america tried to remake it but failed miserably with "city of angels." if not, find a really good musical. listening to music doesn't always do it, nor does looking at art. but if you put the two together, perfect!
