Thanks! I sent you a note about it. My mom says that she will be able to go to a nursing home after her surgery and someone from the Veteran's Administration can come to help with the house work.  I think I'm just lonely. There's no one in my apartment that is my age or shares my interests. The elderly man who creeps me out thinks we do because he was in training to be a game warden and is always like, "I could teach you about wildlife!" (I'm sure he could, but I highly doubt I could get any college credit from him. I can learn just as well from books and don't have to worry about the possibility of being raped by them.)

 I didn't feel this way before my lizard died but my mom won't let get another pet because she thinks it will be "overwhelming". I tried getting a puppy after Pippin died but it didn't work out. I suggested a ferret or a hedgehog but my mom says I couldn't afford the vet bills. Hedgehogs do not need vaccines and only need shots if they are VERY sick. I had a ferret as a kid and he never went to the vet in his life. He lived to be about twelve.
