That might not be necessary between the Penders lawsuit and the threat that the comic company might be ripped apart from the inside out. I would be interested in seeing another company's take on the story, provided that Sally and the Freedom Fighters are in it of course. ;)

Yeah the comic hasn't been doing that good. People are not liking what has been going on lately. Actually, if the Archie series gets cancelled, then the Freedom Fighters will get cancelled with it. The whole reason why they were in the comic in the first place was because the comic was originally based on the SatAM series. If there is another comic book series that is done by another company, then the Freedom Fighters will not be in it. Actually there could be a manga instead. The Freedom Fighters will obviously not be in it because the manga would be from Sega of Japan and Sega of America are the ones who made the Freedom Fighters.

Which is very unfortunate. I doubt I'd really care about the comic or manga in that case. The other incarnations of Sonic haven't exactly wowed me.

Sonic Underground, both versions of Sonic X, the mangas that came out in Japan, the comic from England, etc. They just weren't what I was looking for in a Sonic story.

Sonic Underground was kind of okay but I only saw some episodes of it, both versions of Sonic X were kind of mediocre, the mangas were okay, and I liked the UK comic. So what kind of stuff were looking for in a Sonic story?

SatAM pretty much had it, a good balance of humor with more serious drama that makes Sonic's actions stronger because we feel there's a legitimate threat that needs to be resolved and only the blue blur can accomplish that. When he just plays the part of the Road Runner crossed with Bugs Bunny or breaks the fourth wall to wag his finger at the kids at home and tells them not to replicate his actions he becomes less cool and more like a silly wacky cartoon. Know what I mean?

Yeah that was how Sonic was like back in the early comics which were very silly and stupid if you ask me. Even the art was very ridiculous. I'm thinking of making my own Sonic anime in the future and it will have the characters from the games, the Fleetway comics, AoStH, and some from Sonic X. The anime wil be a little less light-hearted and a little more darker. The characters will be a little more humanoid in design. The design of Sonic will be similar to the design I made in my page. The anime will be called, Sonic the Hedgehog: The Fastest Thing Alive.
