You should know that I got over a quarter century head start over you, so the art I do has many years of trial and error behind it.
You may find it interesting, but not all comments I've had at my site and those at anime cons have been positive. There's an almost religous devotion by anime fanatics that I've had to deal with, one literally begging me to stop. In any case, the art is there, and I'll put up more from my website gallery in the weeks to come.
I remember the inspirations I had at 19, that was a very wonderous time for me, I'd just discovered Sci-Fi art, and was working furiously to get a portfolio ready for Art Center College of Design, while working as a map drafter in a Civil Engineering company.
In time your technical abilities will catch up with your dreams.
