Mmm. So I'm pretty sure I have no idea to get started here. I'm gonna upload some of my drawings..but I really want to work with other mediums than just fricking pencil. What are some easy/ fun methods for getting your creativity out? I heard that(sorry if I murder this word, I'm gonna spell it how it sounds, okay?) conte *winces* crayons don't smear and work well.
Also, everyone keeps telling me to get photoshop. I'm an aspiring artist, so wouldn't Elements be better? Someone want to/ can you fill me in PLEASSSEE? *gets on knees and pleads*
Thanks!
and to answer your question from october...if you're still wondering, i suppose:
try watercolors, charcoal, or even colored pencils. also, photoshop is great, but if you can't find a version online or can't afford to buy something that expensive, you could start out with elements. (:
You're very welcome. I really enjoy looking at people with great work like yours(:
Watercolors..I really am goign to try to get into that again. I took a class last summer and got so frusterated with how hard it is, but its really beautiful. Charcoal-isn't that extremely hard to work with? I really do want photoshop, as expensive as it may be. And a tablet, and those aren't cheap, either. But it will be worth it. Are online photoshops cheaper? Have you ever tried a medium called a conte crayon? I keep hearing they're really easy to work with and not as messy as charcoal. Thank you very much for helping me out! I'll def. keep watching your site
charcoal isn't that hard to work with. in my opinion watercolors are harder, haha. you could try to download a pirated version of photoshop online, but if you buy the real version, the price is still the same. actually, i have never heard of something called a conte crayon? >_> sorry!
Hmmm..I don't think I'm smart enough to figure out how to download one of those. Maybe I can get my little genius boyfriend to try to get it for me. ^.^ It doesn't hurt to try! And I think I'm going to get some charcoal. Its not that expensive, so if it doesn't work for me, then its no big deal. Agh, watercolor is my worst nightmare. But I still way envy people who can do it. It's alright if you haven't heard of the conte crayons, not many people I know have, thats why I need someone else's opinoins on it. Thanks a lot, though!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
