a piece of art's sole purpose can sometimes be just to show the viewer = life - from the perspective of the artist. it does not have to be grand, or beautiful or even a piece that others would consider "art". it is how we view the world. everyday you pass certain places, see certain things, meet certain people.. can't art be a journal..? just something that struck the artist as memorable? something that revealed a truth or revelation? this is what i do.
