It's been alright overall, last year was super stressful, but this year hasn't been so bad yet. Trying to get into the succession of commissions, work and school.

Life is going alright. There's been some sort of crummy things that happened over the last year ish- like a very good friend of mine just straight up never talking to me again, without explanation as to why, but with the close of one door it opened me up to making so many new friends and getting into new things that I had never had a real opportunity to explore before. 
Aw, I'm really sorry to hear that all happened for you. I'm glad you're looking on teh good side of things though. I had a similar thing happen. I feel like college is what drove us apart, but she never told me why or what was making her act the way she was. She just started getting kind of distant. We don't talk much anymore, and when we do, it's very small conversations that I usually start. I feel like she just decided to move on for whatever reason.
hmmm, that sounds like a not so great situation. Sometimes relationships just slip away though when people get busy with life and dont have as much overlap in schedual anymore. 
it could just be a situation of life stress and you two having different things going on, but that's just sort of speculation on my part since i dont know the whole story. Either way it doesn't always feel the best to be the one hunting out conversation and at some point its just easier not to try and keep in close contact anymore.

I've tried to make contact with her and sometimes she just gets kind of angry with me. But yes, I agree. Sometimes, it's hard to tell what's really teh main cause but there comes a point where you shoudl just say "Why worry". If the friendship doesn't mean enough to that person that after several attempts it's still dying, then let it. ;u; Sad life it tis.

Ive been drawing a fair bit actually. nothing really big or exciting but ive gotten pretty into the homestuck fandom and have a host of troll ocs who've been a fun chance of pace from what ive rped in the past. the fandoms been a really fun change from what ive been into in the past and ive met a lot of really wonderful people P:

Oh my, really? That's awesome! I never really got into Homestuck, I really tried but I couldn't get past the beginning of it. :U I might try to read it again sometime, but I really am just stuck on a certain area of it. I'm so glad that you could meet new people and find new things to get into <3
Oh yeah, the start of it is SO HARD to get through, it took me three different tries before i finally got far enough to get into it. It really starts picking up after the first hundred or so pages of John dicking around his house though. Its sort of like playing a new video game when you havent read the instructions and skipped over the tutorials so when they start talking about syladexes and strife allocations youre sitting there going what "what the hell does that even mean??"
If youve got at least an hour to try it again some time just keep pushing forward because it really does get so much better
