Oh I'm so sorry ;A; I keep writing the email and I never ended up sending it. I showed it to the founder and we decided that we'd like you to draw a piece specially for the artbook rather then give in an already finished work. Not that the piece wasn't amazing but..

I wish you'd let me know a while ago. You'll have to remind me when the deadline is then, because I have zero days off until the 22nd of August. If it's before then, I'll have to bow out.
I know I am sorry, I had thought I'd sent you a reply email long ago(because I remember that I had spoken with people about it then too)
The deadline is early next year soooo... yeah but if you could have a sketch sooner then later that'd be great!

I have been frustrated with the inconsistent communication surrounding this project so far. My schedule is pretty intense, so I need to plan deadlines as far in advance as possible. I make an effort to respond promptly to any art requests I receive, and I appreciate the same consideration and consistency from anyone I work with.
Let me know the deadline for the actual piece, and I'll see what I can do. I agreed to be part of the book mostly because I already had a piece that would fit the theme. It sounds like a beautiful project, but unfortunately between 3 jobs, commissions, curating, and multiple art exhibits each month, I can't spend the time to make a piece that doesn't fit into one of my existing bodies of work. I've already painted the Kitsune legend, and if you guys would like a brand new piece, I'd rather paint something other than what I've already done. Please let me know which tales are already taken, and I'll see if I can find time and inspiration to create a different one before the deadline. Cheers.

We're trying our best, there's only two of us getting to all the artists involved in this.
