Cattle die
kinsmen die
all men are mortal.
Words of praise
will never perish
nor a noble name.

just like to say i really like your signature.

firm follower in viking culture.

i believe it's through stories and books that we live in the after life. alexander the great, the pharaohs and so many others, although not alive, will never die as long as we keep their name going.

I agree. As long as the stories live, the people live with them. That is also why i have a firm belief in passing on mythological tales to any children i (hope to) have :)
Ones culture and legend is who we are, and should be cared for like a precious heirloom, and handed down.

The goal is not to live forever. It is to create something that will. :)

it scares me, all this cultural equalization happening in north america.

i can see people all slowly becoming the same. i happily latched on to a few good people and we appreciate the good life.

my friends personal motive, to do anything, is "you have to die to get to valhalla"
basically he has to suffer to get the best.

i really like what you ended with there. :)
