It should be. Sadly there's been a bit of a mess-up, since I have to do volunteering at a different place for some government requirements. Anyone who receives a specific unemployment benefit has to do six months of volunteer work (as opposed to, say, the government helping us find jobs and thus being less of a drain on the budget, but that would be logical). I wanted to keep volunteering where I do, at a local Red Cross op shop, but my job service provider messed up the instructions I gave them and I had to go somewhere else because their mistake meant they hit a brick wall.
And it absolutely sucks because I liked it where I was. The people are lovely, the work is fun and I genuinely enjoyed going in there. Instead, I have to stuff around doing some sort of sports admin thing with AFL Central Victoria. It's fiddling around with social media stuff and whatever. I don't like AFL very much, I don't like social media very much and I don't want to take on writing as a career.
