Hi
I wrote you a long message and then I hit something and deleted it...so, one more time..Nice to meet you and thanks for willing to help. I have lots of questions, some of them are:
I was wonderring what is the best size and resolution for a drawing to be posted?
I wanted to post a drawing for one of the contests, but it has a woman half naked..is that considered unapropriate, and what do I have to do if it is?
I have some color pensil drawings, that I want to submit for a galery, but I have used different pictures from some magazines in them. I don't intend to sell prints, but do u have an idea what do I need to do...make a comment about who is on the picture, and where is it from, or it still will be considered plagiarism?
So many more questions...but if u are willing to help with these, I will be gratefull. Thanks again!
1-) You can upload any size of drawings. The most big the better it it. n-n At the upload page, you can choose the size your pic will appear in full view. If the pic is not too big or has too much detail, it's ok to leave the "Original size" selected, but if you want it a little bit smaller or want it not to mess the DA page layout, I suggest 800 pixel wide option. n-n
2-)It depends of the contest. You should ask the contest owner. But usually when it's not allowed there is a "No nude pics please" written somewhere. n-n
3-)I don't know if I got it well, but you used reference photos for the drawings? If you used, it's nice to say: "Reference photo is from *person*" kind of that. Just a comment on the picture, it's not plagiarism. But if the reference is already a drawing, I guess you should have the artist permission. n-n
Wow, that's my longest comment ever. xD
Hope it was helpfull. You can ask me if something is not understandable (since my English is kind of bad. ) or if you have another question. n-n
*Enchantedforest is a community about fairies and other fantasy creatures that can be found in the woodlands!
Here are the Best Of Fantasy Art for the Summer, among the deviations submitted into our gallery. You'll find here Every medias, so look closely at the thumbs and visit the artists' gallery!
Enjoy and fave the ORIGINAL deviations you like, browse the galleries of the artists you love and devwatch them!
Here are 100 (and a few more) of some very nice photographs on deviantART that I think should get some attention. Some already have a fair bit, but deserve it. So I'm giving them more.
With a gallery that takes you on a journey into another world, `spyroteknik has firmly secured a place as one of the top artists within our community. Always willing to participate in events as well as providing critique and guidance to members in such a humble yet inspiring manner is a quality which deserves recognition. So it's with great pleasure that we award this month's Deviousness to Martin Bland. Read More

If you have attempted Alchemy by drawing an array, clapping your hands, or snapping your fingers, paste this in your signature.
