Good Evening… well its evening in my part of the world.

When someone has very few comments, you tend to lap up any Nice Pic or Cool! or some other 5 words or less comment.
But when you get a number of comments like that already, I know that many artists like yourself wish that someone would say something worthwhile or at the very least, interesting, thats part of the reason why done so, and partly because thats the way I am. ^_^

You're quite welcome, your piccy just plain impressed me. ^_^
I need to learn how to draw totally original pictures from scratch instead of copying poses like I do now.
Oddly enough, the Ubunty look was what I was after. ^_^
I only have XP on this computer I am using until I can return it to Radio Rentals later this year but the other laptop I have has Ubuntu and XP on it but I want to wear out this computer first before I start regularly using the other one.

That's OK. Every artist began with copying. I used to originate pics after 1 year's copying experience. However after dozens of originated pics I didn't find it a better way for me to improve skills. Now I've partly returned to copying. Copy==learn, Originate=ractise. Both are helpful, I think.
I just wore out an old laptop 1 month ago. I'm now using a new one with both XP and Ubuntu on it. Though Linux is amazing I can not yet achieve all functions I wish, especially playing .rmvb file properly. Frankly I'm a bud in Linux world. Before installing Ubuntu I had only experienced an indigenous Chinese version of Linux.
All I know is that I was told that its best to split your hard drive into both Windows and Ubuntu to get the best of both worlds as Windows is useful especially if you like to play PC games, but I plan on using Ubuntu for my internet surfing.
As for practicing my art, I will feel more at ease with drawing from scratch once I got my PS CS2 and a tablet. I know its possible to draw from scratch with a mouse, but it would be so slow and painful, it would just end up pissing me off.

The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Hello there! This news article is the result of a thumb share thread I posted few days ago on the dA forum along with pictures from my favorites. I hope you enjoy them.
