Hey bro, just randomly logged onto DA and remembered you and a few of the old writers had pages here. How've you been? I finally made it out of the Midwest, in all its monotonous splendour.
no problem gaktikol. I really like your stuff. Well in AP art they don't actually teach you anything. If you are in it, you arte basically working independently and the teacher is only their for guidance or help. So each semester you are required to do eleven peices of art and then the teacher grades them. They can be any type of art there just has to be 11 of them. So if you don't know anything about art and are expecting the teacher to actually teach you, then you are in trouble :-/
when i was in AP art it was basically the same. We worked on our AP Portfolios all year to get them ready to submit to Princeton. Then these people graded it, and they rate your portfolio from a 1 (the lowest) to a 5 (the best). I made a 4, which is really good. But AP classes are to get college credit, so when you go to college you won't have to take drawing 1.
thanks for the info. and while i'm at it, i was wondering what good art colleges there are in california? i MIGHT be moving to CA soon, specifically in glendale. if ever that pushes through, i'd want to get into an art school.
