Comment on ~Sai-Manga-Tuts

I dont understand, since you're a white person, and you're interested in manga, why do you have to name your characters some Jap names? Are English names not good enough? do you think manga should include only Japanese names? then I think that cant be since you're a white person drawing it? Why not name them English names explain? i

Actually.. my only characters that have Japanese names are my .. Japanese characters. I have a sort of martial arts story that takes place in a mythological version of ancient Japan (I'm way into folklore from many cultures) so since the characters in that are all asian, they have Japanese and Chinese names. They're just the ones you happen to see more on my site right now.

I also have a fantasy story, you know, your typical fantasy, swords and sorcery, the mideval Europe that never was. And an array of creatures to play with from an array of lore (English, Irish, some Greek thrown in there). But mostly elves, since I love elves, and examples of names of characters from that story are "Terith" "Galto" and "Drake".

And then I'm working on this psyche. horror, very much a seedling of a story. Sorta sci-fi, sorta gunslinging, and it takes place in a semi-futuristic America. The characters in that have names like "Sage" "Raven" and "Adrien".

@_@ Then theres ANOTHER, a cute, light fluff story, that can kinda take place in anywhere (Westernized though) and the main characters name is "Milli".

And I have yet another seedling that I'm unsure if I'll ever use, but I'm thinking of giving all the characters French names o_o...
