I do both. I chose to go with music as my major because I can always do art on the side. I can't always do music on the side because I'd lose my ability to play good over time. Of course, art that happens too, but its much easier to doodle in class than it is to practice your flute. ;)

It was a hard decision, but I love music so much! I want to teach high school band, thats my goal. I will always have time to play with art. Once I graduate I plan on going back and auditing art classes, especially graphic design.
