What do you think of American Psycho? I couldn't read all of it. Very strange book. Well written but too strange.

I think American Psycho is great. I've had to take a bit of a break from it to finish writing my own stuff, but what I've read of it, I've really enjoyed. You're right, though, it can be very odd...Bateman is such a looney narrator. I don't think I realized quite what I was getting into until I read the list of his morning routine that spans the entire second chapter.

Love the film Secretary - James Spader has something about him - don't know what it is - he's not conventionally handsome - but has this aura about him. He's so sexy in Boston Legal.

Oh, I know, he's great. And he just seems very...I don't know. Like he's almost seperate from the other characters in the movie--off in his own little world. I think it's partly the power and partly the fact that I feel a little sorry for him.

Did you see him in Pretty in Pink? With Molly Ringwald? Insufferable - but still so gorgeous - and I think he had that arrogance that about him then that is somehow attractive.
