Truthfully I did wanted to give up, some ppl may think I had it easy but I don't, mainly cause I was autistic, but every time I watched transformers or Godzilla, I forget bout everything,my mind kinda goes on the adventures with the series as a little character heheh

I'm on the spectrum too, and I know it's frigging hard to follow along with IRL peers whose interests are not even in the same universe as your own. Admitting you liked cartoons or Power Rangers in the 90's was basically a social death sentence. It sucked. I'm so glad the internet lets people share their interests without too much judgment or meanness. (Admittedly, bullying happens online too, which is sad.)

Yep, I grew up on power rangers, Pokemon, digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Godzilla and transformers beast wars and the Unicron trilogy,if it wasn't for these shows I think I'd be way more depressed than I was (considering I have been diagnosed depression in recent years)

For me it was Godzilla, MMPR, Babylon 5, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Gargoyles, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess. They were my escapism and I reblog stuff related to them on tumblr if I see them. My tumblr username is butterflyinthewell
