I just read your comments on Superman. I can only second ~Sixus1's comments. The US is not perfect, but the ideal, the intent of the United States as outlined in our founding documents is something worthy of reaching for and aspiring to, and that is what Superman has always stood for. He ceased to be a character defending just the US decades ago, but it is his belief in Truth, Justice AND the American Way that has made him someone willing to sacrifice himself to defend the world and the right mankind to life, property, and the pursuit of happiness.
