Yep! I finally crawled out of my little "posting art online is evil" hole and decided to brave it if some butt decides to steal my work and not give me credit. I always find out one way or another. *grin* Posting work online helps keep me inspired anyway. I feel the need to create new pieces or sketches simply because I like to keep my gallery updated. So now I'll have NO life what so ever!!

yay welcome to dev art...i too went to FIDM around the same time you did i think...but i never continued on to the 3rd year....for more than one reason...i couldn't make up my mind which one to apply for, and i have no money or car and need a job....so yes..how's fidm life? i don't even know you but jen does so you must be nice hehe...okie well ttyl! oh and i know what you mean about putting stuff online and not wanting people to steal your ideas. that's why i don't put my best original stuff up....just a few sketches here and there. good luck...tata...can't wait to see more from you.
I don't blame you for not applying for 3rd year. It's a lot of money and tons of extra work. It's really tempting to go out and try for a "real" job once you have that diploma anyway. Main reason I tried for 3rd year was because I couldn't see myself as a fashion designer. I'd probably end up slitting my wrists after 6 months.
The program is really exciting. Hopefully things will pick up this quarter. The work load will, no doubt. We'll be starting the mockups for Debut soon. Frightening concept.

ooooh yes he is! As for your wonderful journey at Fidm goooood luck...lots and lots of it...i know one thing i do not miss for sure is the work load and you get lots of praises for stickin to it...it doesnt hurt that you like doing what you do either..
