morning m (ag tab doesn't work here, i feel so powerless). A Squall is a cross between a squirrel and a ball...like a really round squirrel...or a really bouncy squirrel...or a squirrel-shaped ball. I f you have any other questions about cross species/objects (which we call spejects or obcies) then just call on me, babe.

thought of the day: how does this thing work? did m445 get my message? do not be afraid to leave some advice...especially on how to actually post things (literature) and how to make my page look awesome...i'm a complete computer virgin... another question...is there a smiley which portrays confusion?

05:21am?! oh my, just so you know i'm not a sad pathetic loser who messes around on computers at all odd hours...it's 14:43 where i live...

i want to add deviations but i don't know how...bloody hell this is frustrating :sad:

'Ere Here's how to upload deviations.

- Click the 'Submit Deviation' button that's in a menu at the top right of your profile screen, and also in a clickable menu in a banner underneath the dA logo, search bar, etc. There is a logo to the left of to your screenname - click this to open a menu. (Snoop around. )

- You'll be taken to the Submit Deviation screen. Put in a title for the deviation. Click the button underneath this box to choose the category for this deviation.

- If you want to upload literature, click the 'Add Text' button under the files box. Then type in the text or copy and paste from the original source. Press OK to upload this text.

- If you want to upload a picture INSTEAD, click the 'Add file' button that's next to the 'Add text' button. Choose from the directory which file you want to upload. Press OK and the file will be uploaded.

- Add some Artist's Comments and tags.

- Choose whether you want to allow comments, disable comments, discourage criticism or encourage "advanced critique".

- If the content would have a 'Mature' or '18' rating, check the 'Contains Mature Content' box.

- Optionally choose whether to include a Creative Commons licence. This can be helpful to prevent people from stealing your work.

You shouldn't HAVE to include a preview image with any literature, so make sure that you correctly read any error messages you get (e.g. the error message might not say you need a preview picture, but that artist's comments are needed). If deviantART insists that you need a preview image, include any image you may have on your computer. If the image is a GIF image, make sure it's no larger than 150x150 pixels. Also, I'd advise reporting this bug to dA so that they can sort it out.

thanks for the attempt at helping me...but alas 'tis not to be. I think the controllor of this thing is psychic and has predicted the crappyness of my writings...what is a yob btw? and a hoodie? oh and i read your journal and just to reassure you that stupidity is a world wide thing and all you can do is laugh it off bacause there really is no hope pf having functioning public services. What were you planning on studying? just keep swimming

A yob is a thug-type person, usually a teenager or in their early-twenties. The kind of person who likes shouting and swearing in the middle of the street, binge drinking, vandalism, violence.... those sort of things. A hoodie is just a hooded jacket, but people tend to call PEOPLE hoodies now... and I believe those are just people who wear hoodies. They're generally classified as yobs, because a lot of "hoodies" are troublemakers - but not all.

And I was hoping to study Art and Design mostly. All that wouldn't have been so bad if the college had actually put relevant information up on their website or in one of the many e-mails I sent to them. I wouldn't have been so disappointed -_-
